Rise Montessory Nursery

Our mission is to provide a complete Montessori Program

Our Approach

We’ve developed a teaching philosophy based on the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum that blends influences from Maria Montessori into everything we do.

Our curriculum and teaching practices are guided by the latest developments in early childhood research, the experience of our early education specialists and the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS). Working with leading early years and Montessori experts we have blended our own ambitious outcomes for the children in with the Characteristics of effective learning and learning outlined by the EYFS – supporting children to play and explore, be active learners and critical thinkers.

Our curriculum is co-constructed by the children and educators, who work together in teams to extend each child’s unique interests, find the answers to their questions about the world and inspire their learning through the introduction of new contexts and provocations. We deliver the curriculum through play based experiences and inspirational teaching. On a daily basis there is a balance of educator-initiated learning experiences and child initiated play.
